Boulbon

Small village typical of Provence, its existence dates back 1000 years ... A few kilometers from Avignon and Arles. Throughout the year, frequent bullfighting events animate the streets of the village or its arenas.

What to see, what to visit: The feudal castle (by its strategic position it was for a long time a sentinel of the County of Provence against the Kingdom of France). The Sainte-Anne church (built in 1628 on the site of a Romanesque chapel). La Chapelle Saint-Marcellin (Romanesque, dated 11th century, parish church of the village until 1628). The Bonnet mill (Windmill from 1776 restored in 2002 in accordance with the original. It has regained its roof, its wings and its mechanism). The Saint-Julien chapel (Romanesque, located outside the village in the heart of nature, 3 km on the road leading to the Abbey of Saint-Michel de Frigolet).
Recommended activities: The via ferrata of the Gorges du Gardon, walks around the Pont du Gard, mountain biking in the Gorges du Gardon, cycling circuits, etc.
