Buisson

Perched atop a hill, Buisson dominates the Aygues valley, surrounded by vineyards, fruit orchards and pine trees. It fans out around its 12th century church. It is the dominating position of the area which led the Templars to found a commandry, still protected by its walls. The link to the Templars, the church of Notre-Dame del Bois and its bell tower, the campanile and the town’s red-ochre papal coat of arms, its fortified gate all contribute to the overall beauty of this thousand-year old town.
