Only the river Rhône separates Chusclan from Provence. Everything here is reminiscent of le Sud, from the vines to the pine
trees, even, sometimes, down to the Mistral wind… From the village there is a wide choice of walking circuits to choose from,
one of which takes you up to the castle of Gicon, some 245 m above sea level. From here you will enjoy breathtaking views over the
Rhône valley, Languedoc and Provence. The castle's ancient vineyard has been revived over an area of 12 ha and produces an
excellent wine.
What to see, what to visit: Caesar's camp, the Visiatome in Marcoule, the
Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail…
Recommended activities: walking, mountain biking, swimming.
