A typically Provençal village, La Bastidonne is set in the Regional Natural Park of the Luberon. A stroll through its narrow streets will enable you to discover its many treasures, so representative of the villages of Provence. La Bastidonne has a church, stone fountains and wash house, as well as typical Provençal houses. Unmissable is a walk up to the plateau of Saint-Julien, approximately 1 km from the village, from where you will enjoy superb views over the Durance and the mountain of the Sainte-Victoire.

What to see, what to visit: 13th century Romanesque church, the plateau of Saint-Julien (ruins of a medieval castle and hidden staircase of the oppidum), the bories of Castellet, the church, the ferme du Réal: a workshop run by a charity which has a restaurant and a boutique offering local produce for sale. The remains of the Domaine du Grand Réal which used to be inhabited by monks.
