A medieval village set between the abbaye d’Aiguebelle and the castle of Grignan,
in the very heart of Drôme Provençale. Originally belonging
to the Cersas, it was named Réauville in 1280. There are many architectural wonders here, as well as some remains of the
original ancient village built around the castle. From the rock of the Virgin Mary (le Rocher de la Vierge), you can enjoy superb
panoramic views over the Dentelles de Montmirail, the
Mont Ventoux, the
mountain ranges of the Ardèche…, les montagnes de l'Ardèche…
To see, to visit : the rock and statue of the Virgin Mary, the remains of the eleventh century tower, the
medieval village, ancient houses, the church Sainte-Marie-Madeleine (nineteenth century fresco within), the isolated chapel to
the north of the village.
