An ancient fortified village, Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac dominates the surrounding countryside. Its houses, built with the local
stones, its narrow streets and vaulted passageways are all testimony to the rich medieval heritage of this truly authentic and
unspoiled charming village. Walks through the countryside here will allow you to admire the old stone walls which mark out the
paths, as well as the capitelles, the dwellings the peasants used to live in, built out of dry stones.
