Ideally located between Nîmes, Alès and Avignon, Uzès is listed as a 'City of Arts and History'. You will discover its great many riches as you wander the streets of Uzès with its major Roman remains. Of course there is the famous Roman aqueduct of 50 km which carried the water to Nîmes, over, in particular the Pont du Gard, which figures on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.
