Velleron is a fortified village which has retained numerous remnants of its past: the church of Saint-Michel and
its seven chapels, the castle of Crillon (currently the town hall), the 17th century olive oil mill, the ancient
hospital... It is also renowned for its excellent farmers' market.
What to see, what to visit: the 13th century castle of the Crillon family, the
16th century Crillon windmill, the parish church of Saint-Michel, originally built in the 12th century, the
rural chapel of Notre-Dame-du-Refuge. The Monts de Vaucluse, the antique dealers of l’Isle sur Sorgue, the
caves of Thouzon, the Dentelles de Montmirail.
